Itinerary:

  • Be picked up from selected hotels, travel by comfortable coach to the Meiji Shrine, which was dedicated to the Emperor and Empress in 1926. Hear from your guide why the Meiji Shrine is Tokyo’s most popular and important Shinto shrine while you stroll around the buildings and gardens.
  • Return to the coach and drive past the towering Japanese House of Parliament en route to the Imperial Palace East Garden. Located outside the Imperial Palace on the grounds of a former Edo-era castle, the expansive grounds contain a tea pavilion, traditional Japanese garden, a moat and stone walls.
  • Next, walk along Nakamise Shopping Street, a colorful promenade lined with food stands and souvenir shops that leads up to Tokyo’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temple, Asakusa Kannon Temple (also known as Senso-ji). Your guide takes you through the market to tour the magnificent architecture, shrines, and Japanese gardens around the temple.
  • Leave Asakusa Kannon Temple and drive by the celebrated Ginza shopping district with its eye-popping neon lights, department stores and giant theatres. Then sit down for a Western-style lunch at Pastel-Tei restaurant, which overlooks Hamarikyu Garden, Tokyo’s only surviving seaside garden from the Edo period. (In 2017, you’ll head to Yurakucho to join a traditional Japanese dance activity before enjoying a lunch buffet)
  • When you finish your meal, board a large boat for a 1-hour cruise around Tokyo Bay. Snap photos of Tokyo’s skyline and iconic sights such as Rainbow Bridge. At the end of your cruise, check out the futuristic waterfront shopping district called Aqua City Odaiba. Keep an eye out for architectural fancies in this area, including the Fuji TC Building, Tokyo Big Sight, and Telecom Center
  • Your tour ends at Tokyo Station as you make your own way to your hotel

  • From Seaside Top, your guide points out sights such as Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Bay. On a clear day, you might even spot Mount Fuji on the horizon. After about 20 minutes, return to your coach and head to the Imperial Palace, where you make a brief photo stop at the outer garden of the palace
  • Next, drive through the bustling Ginza district, known for its luxury shopping with huge department stores and brand name shops
  • Your coach then takes you to Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temple. Built in the year 645 AD, the temple combines magnificent architecture, elaborate Japanese gardens, beautiful shrines and grand gates. Follow your guide through the temple and learn more about its history. Then walk out of the Hozomon Gate to the shopping streets of Nakamise where you take in lanes packed with vendors who sell traditional crafts and Japanese snacks
  • After browsing in Nakamise, head to the river to board your boat for a relaxing 40-minute Sumida River cruise. You’ll glide through Tokyo and go underneath 12 bridges, providing a different perspective on the city. Listen to recorded commentary about the sights you pass as you cruise along this historically significant waterway
  • When your boat arrives at Hinode Pier, reboard your coach for drop- off at Tokyo Station where your tour ends. You’ll receive a complimentary souvenir map of Tokyo so that you can explore the city further on your own.

  • Next, Oshino-mura, savor a Japanese-style lunch meal while admiring a stunning view of majestic Mt. Fuji from a ninja theme park which recently opened in autumn 2015
  • Then, visit Yamanakako Onsen, experience bathing in natural alkaline hot spring baths
  • See a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji while enjoying a relaxing soak in the open-air bath (Towel rental at Yamanakako Onsen is available for a fee. Bringing your own towel is recommended. Please remove your towel before entering the baths. Bathing in swimsuits is not allowed and Yamanashi Prefecture regulations prohibit people with tattoos from bathing in hot springs. Please note that participants with tattoos may not be allowed to enter the baths at Benifuji no Yu)
  • Afterwards, Gotemba Premium Outlets , the largest outlet shopping center in Japan. Enjoy shopping with Mt. Fuji in the background at this huge outlet mall. Depending on traffic conditions, time spent at the outlet may be reduced to less than 120 minutes
  • Tour ends near Shinjuku Station West Exit

Notes:

  • If the Fuji Subaru Line to Mt. Fuji’s 5th station is blocked due to road surface freezing or accidents, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible
  • No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station. If the tour was not able to proceed from the 1st Station and the entrance to the Subaru Line cannot be accessed, the tour will head to Lake Kawaguchi. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions
  • The order of activities and arrival time may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations
  • If Benifuji no Yu is closed for inspection, the tour will visit Ishiwari no Yu instead
  • If the minimum number of participants is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled
  • Depending on traffic conditions, time spent at the outlet may be reduced to less than 120 minutes

  1. Upon registration and confirmation of airline ticket request, Traveller must remit full payment for airline ticket according to the dateline as advised by the person- in- charge in AMI.
  2. For ground and other payments, Traveller must remit deposit (a 100 % non-refundable) of 35% from the package price (excluding airline ticket) within three (3) days after registration or according to the dateline advised by person- in- charge in AMI. Balance payment must be made thirty (30) days prior to departure date or according to the dateline as advised by the person- in- charge in AMI.

Amendment

  • No changes can be made within 48 days before departure
  • If participant wants to come back later or earlier than the expected date of arrival in Malaysia, participant must send an e-mail or letter 45 days before the travelling dates and it is subject to the discretion of Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours. However, Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to reject or accept it.
