Activities Information

Day 1: Singapore – Johor Bahru – Melaka (250 km)

  • Meet your guide /driver at your hotel Lobby/ Changi Airport
  • Depart from Singapore to Melaka
  • Along the way we’ll stop at Johor Bahru to change vehicles.
  • Continue the journey with estimated arrival time around noon,
  • Tour of the historic sites such as Cheng Hoon Teng Temple – the oldest functioning Chinese temple in Malaysia, Kampung Kling Mosque, Jonker Street with its antiques and curios, Baba & Nyonya Museum, the pink Stadhuy’s Building, Malacca Clock Tower, Christchurch and the famous Porta de Santiago.
  • Check in hotel – Overnight

Day 2: Melaka – Kuala Lumpur (147 km)

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Depart by 8:30am to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia
  • Upon arrival you will be given a tour of the King’s Palace (photo stop), National Mosque & Railway Station, National Monument, Independence Square, Sultan Abdul Samad building (photo stop), Selangor Club (photo stop), St Mary’s Church and the world’s tallest free-standing flagpole.
  • Tour resumes for visit to the Seri Mahamariaman Temple and the colourful Chinatown for bargain hunting.
  • Before checking in your hotel, visit KL Tower – the tallest communication tower in South East Asia for a panoramic view of the city.
  • Check in to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • After breakfast, go on a tour of the Countryside, visiting the Royal Selangor Visitor center, the world’s largest pewter manufacturer, which makes appealing and good quality souvenirs,
  • Batu Caves – the holy, sacred cave temple for the Hindus (except three days of pre and post during Thaipusam festival) and a batik factory.
  • Rest of the day is at your own leisure to discover the good bargains and cozy cafes and restaurants of Kuala Lumpur, the happening city.

DAY 4: Kuala Lumpur-Cameron Highlands (220 km)

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Depart Kuala Lumpur in the morning and travel north to the hill resort of Cameron Highlands. Stands at 1,820 metres above sea level, it is synonymous with fresh fruits and vegetables, horticultural and tea plantation nourished by fertile and rich terrain.
  • En-route, you may chance upon seeing Orang Asli (Malaysia aboriginals) on hunting trip, carrying their long blowpipes with poison darts.
  • Check-in at hotel.
  • Afternoon visit vegetables and fruit farms, not to be missed is the visit to a tea plantation and its tea processing plant.
  • The evening is free at leisure. Breakfast and lunch included.

DAY 5:  Cameron Highlands-Penang (330 km)

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Begins your day with a visit to the morning farmer’s market.
  • Then check-out and travel downhill and northwards to Ipoh, the city of tin mines.
  • After lunch, visit a Pomelo farm and then continue journey to Kuala Kangsar, the royal town of Perak
  • View the majestic Ubudiah Mosque, built in 1917 and remains the most beautiful mosque in the country
  • Cross the 2nd Penang Bridge, 25KM long and the 2nd longest in Asia. The evening is free at leisure or optional tours.

DAY 6:  Penang

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Explore the streets of Georgetown and its rich heritage.
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Admire the intricate carvings, woodwork and porcelain décor of Khoo Kongsi and the adjacent Yap Kongsi.
  • After that take a short leisurely trishaw ride through Chinatown to visit Peranakan Museum which houses some priceless antique collections of the Straits Settlement era.
  • Last stop is Wat Chayamakaralam which houses one of the world’s largest Reclining Buddha.
  • Afternoon and evening free at leisure or for optional tour.

DAY 7: Penang-Kota Bharu (400 km)

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Have an early breakfast before starting the journey to the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This journey to Kota Bahru transverses changing terrains & lifestyles.
  • The state of Kelantan, translated as “Land of Lightning”, is a veritable treasure trove of delights, rustic fishing villages, verdant paddy fields & palm fringed beaches. It is also the most traditional state in Malaysia in respect of Malay culture & handicrafts.
  • Upon arrival, Check in hotel, the evening is free at leisure.

DAY 8: Kota Bharu-Terengganu (170)

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Depart in the morning to Terengganu, by passing traditional Malay fishing villages and unspoilt beaches dotted with colourful fishing boats.
  • Arrive Kuala Terengganu town in mid afternoon, an orientation drive along the ‘long roof’ China Town.
  • Stop for lunch at local restaurant.
  • Visit the cultural Central Market before arriving at hotel for check-in.

DAY 9:  Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan (250 km)

  • Start your journey to Kuantan after breakfast, passing the picturesque fishing village of Kemaman and the palm-fringed Malay village of Cherating.
  • Proceed journey to Kuantan
  • Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 10:  Kuantan-Singapore (400 km)

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • We’ll depart at 8:30am to return to Singapore
  • Stop on route at the Royal Town of Pekan where the Sultan resides. Visit the traditional boat museum
  • At the town of Johor Bahru we then cross the border to Singapore
  • Approximate arrival time in Singapore is at 6:00pm.

  1. Upon registration and confirmation of airline ticket request, Traveller must remit full payment for airline ticket according to the dateline as advised by the person- in- charge in AMI.
  2. For ground and other payments, Traveller must remit deposit (a 100 % non-refundable) of 35% from the package price (excluding airline ticket) within three (3) days after registration or according to the dateline advised by person- in- charge in AMI. Balance payment must be made thirty (30) days prior to departure date or according to the dateline as advised by the person- in- charge in AMI.

Amendment

  • No changes can be made within 48 days before departure
  • If participant wants to come back later or earlier than the expected date of arrival in Malaysia, participant must send an e-mail or letter 45 days before the travelling dates and it is subject to the discretion of Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours. However, Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to reject or accept it.
  • If allowed, any additional cost is participant’s responsibilities. Participant also will be charged RM 200/person for admin fee.

  • Booking cancellation from the participant should be done through email or letter and must be sent to Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours for avoiding any misunderstanding

Importance

  1. Price is subject to change which based on currency fluctuation.
  2. Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours reserves the right to amend the itinerary without prior notice.

  4. There will be no tour leader from Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours that will join this tour.
  5. Refund will not be paid immediately and will take more than 2 months.
  6. All hotel and flight details are for reference only and subject to change till you get the verification from Al Masyhur International Travel & Tours.
  7. Not all hotels provide electric kettle and ironing facilities. It is advisable to bring your own.
  8. Not all hotels have Triple room. So that, triple sharing room is based on twin sharing room with extra bed.
  9. This package is not includes flight ticket unless it is stated, you will be charge RM 40/ticket/person if you want to book flight tickets with us.
  10. Validity of the passport must be more than 6 (six) months from arrival date.
  11. A copy of passport should be emailed to the tour officer 45 days before departure
  12. It is advisable to check and ensure that you are eligible to go to overseas and your name is not being blacklisted. (’Blacklist’: Bank Debts, PTPTN and others). We will not hold any responsibilities if you are not allowed to travel on the day of your departure. Check status here
  13. For package with Halal meals, meals are suitable for Muslims except breakfast which will be served in standard international buffet menu. In places which Halal meals are hardly to find, we will serve meals based on seafood, vegetarian or packed halal meals.

  15. No refund or reduction will be made to any member in for accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare but not utilized by the tour member due to personal reasons.
